To link or not to link?
Would you say it is better to link Factions to your Guild Wars account, allowing your old characters to access the new areas and your new characters to access the old areas, but only have 6 slots. Or to have 8 slots (not linked), but have them separate?

well my take on this is that you should link your account. by linking you account you get all of the skills, but yes you lose 2 slots. but if you do not link them then you only can get 2/3 of the skills on each account. so if you like some of the new skills you can only use them on your faction account. but if you like some of the old skills you can only use them on the original version. there is a good and a bad to each choise.

I have enough character slots by way of two accounts. I want all my characters to be able to travel between Cantha and Tyria.

With the ability to purchase additional slots it should be even less of an issue. Besides, why would you not want to link them?

This has been asked like a million times, and no one in their right mind would not link both chapters.

I will be linking. Too many options with new skill sets to not link.

Linked, it's the cheapest most efficient way to get every skill in the game.
3 of my guys [well 2 really] start in Tyria while my other 3 [and my wife's chars are all cantha now ;_;] are cantha... How's it look? I can access every skill in the game easily with 5 pve and 1 pvp character... pvp: Mes/Nec Neutralizer [can shutdown anything and can change my pvp char to whatever I want] pve: ah, I can use all of the above! W/N - my main, most fun, most powerful character in my opinion R/E - my secondary, didn't play him much but he does a TON of dmg early game. A/N - Gotta love necro secondary, high damage high condition build N/Mes - originally part ele, this build has more e. management outside Soul Reaping Rit/Mo - I hate Mo, but in this form, I can be summoner, monk, and ele in one! There you have it, every skill in the game easily accessible for my pvp char to use... |

I have two accounts - one on American servers, one on Europe. So far I've only linked my American server account. But, sooner or later, I'll buy a second copy of Factions and link the European account.
